this reminds me of my childhood bonfire night thick smoky sky with that intense smell of smoke it is the best peaty whisky I know for the price £18 in morrisons but even at full price it's still the best for value peaty / smoke whisky. as someone else stated read the description as it will help you decide on weather it's for you.

Can I give it no stars

Very strange taste, smell and after taste. I thought 18 quid was too good to be true, it was. Avoid at all costs. If you like whiskey, don’t buy this.

Classy drop

Hearty, earthy, complex. This is a good whisky if you give it a chance. The nose is challenging, but the flavours are wide and varied. I would buy this again.

good if you love Islay malts!

If you like peaty, smoky Islay-style malts, you'll love this. But if-like the previous reviewers-you missed the description on the packaging before purchase, this is NOT your usual smooth typically Speyside Glen Moray, which I also love. I quite agree with all the descriptors used by the other reviewers, but as someone who loves Laphroaig that is a style I can enjoy. Not for the faint-hearted!

Worst whisky ever!

This is disgusting, smells like dettol & tastes like it too. I have had the Classic one before & for a budget whisky it was pleasant enough. I drink it as whisky is meant to be drunk, over ice. This Glen Moray peated whisky is truly awful!

I liked the standard Glen Moray but this has the nose of disinfectant. Friends had same opinion could not give it away. Used it for its proper purpose cleaning 'u' bend in the sink.
