Oats are among the healthiest of cereals. This is because they are high in fibre, containing a good balance of soluble and insoluble fibre. Soluble fibre is found in all fruit and vegetables but is particularly rich in oats. There is scientific research which states that soluble fibre from oats, when taken as part of a low fat diet can lower cholesterol. Oats are naturally low in sugar, salt and saturated fat.

Ignore the 1 star review, they must have been making it wrong. They oats are smaller than some but that makes the porridge nice a smooth, not lumpy. Lovely with some blueberries/chia and golden syrup!
Great flavour! I eat these oats raw with fruit for my breakfast. Just the right texture.
Disintegrated into a sloppy mush in the pan....
I've bought Flavahans oats many times in the past and love porridge made with them. However, this batch disintegrated into a wall-paper-paste-style gloop within minutes of putting them in the saucepan. Never had that happen with even cheap oats before. The rest of the pack will be used for flapjack, definitely not porridge!
