Nice, everyday drinking.

I tried the Malbec in this range, and not impressed. This on the other hand, is smooth, easy drinking, and excellent value when on offer, and will become a regular buy in this house!

Far too fruity on the palate.

For once, the tasting notes are spot on, but still do not give a true indication of just how fruity this wine is. It exhibits a strong black cherry and cassis taste that I find almost impossible to drink, and it doesn't marry well with red meat. "Hints of black cherries and cassis" it isn't; it's full-on fruit. If you like your wines very fruity you'll no doubt like it, but if your taste is for a more balanced wine, as mine is, you'll not like this.
