Too chocolatey!!?

Lol. I didn’t think there even was such a thing, but this ice cream is too chocolately. Just tastes like frozen cocoa powder. Not a hit with adults or kids.

Best Choc Ice Cream I have EVER Tasted

Title says it all. This is simply amazing, really delectable. Gorgeously rich cocoa flavoring with luscious dark choc strands running throughout. Nothing has even come close to this for me. And, guess what, NO SOYA! Woo hoo! I have to admit that I've avidly avoided Carte D'Or ice cream since being entirely underwhelmed by it in the Nineties. Yes, the NINETIES. Took a punt on this because it was on such a spectacular deal, no soy, looks good, ingredients were impressive, etc. Not for a moment did I expect to have found the vest chocolate ice cream I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. I'm floored.

what a let down

Nowhere near as nice as Morrison's own chocolate ice cream. I've never tasted such awful chocolate ice cream, including the cheapest value offers from low cost supermarkets. It tastes powdery, grainy and has an unpleasant aftertaste, almost like the aftertaste of saccharine although I don't think it contains any sweeteners. I actually threw it away after trying it on two different occasions, the second just to check if it was as bad as I first thought and it was. I liked the strawberry version though.

Real chocolate icecream

Not remotely sweet and sickly, like a good quality dark chocolate. Back to buy it again

The best chocolate ice cream

This is good dark chocolate ice cream with little pieces of dark chocolate throughout. It's proper chocolate ice cream. Not too sweet. Aficionados of milk chocolate will think it's not sweet enough. Chocolate connoisseurs know better. It's not dissimilar to Movenpick chocolate ice cream, but a quarter of the price. YUM.
