I try not to use a lot of Ghee, so I am careful to use it on the food that matters...in this respect, I could not bring myself to use it on Naan Bread as it smells nothing like ghee...in fact it is foul smelling and promptly placed this stuff in the bin without being used at all.
I don't understand why this has so many dislikes?!.. I'm Indian and alot of our food uses ghee. From paratha and sweet vermicelli to butter chicken and Matta paneer. I was very hesitant to try this after reading these bad reviews but as a person who is familiar with ghee and uses it often I bit the bullet and brought this as it promises to be healthier, cheaper and just as good. It really is! I was expecting this to be red but it's pale yellow- like real ghee. It smells like ghee, heats hot like ghee and it tastes like ghee. The tin is HUGE and will last ages. I've cooked several dishes using this and am very happy. TRY IT!
name is a misnomer and tastes yakki. It's just palm oil based, unhealthy.
Milk not listed as allergen!
As a vegan and someone who's lactose intlerant I wasn't happy to find the product contains milk in the flavouring, despite not listing this online.
