Really nice fish inside and the coating was yummy and not dry like some oven fish
a cut above
as far as processed frozen fish goes this one is good. tasty proper fish with flavoursome coating. why 4stars? it's still processed and nothing close to a real chippys efforts.
Not as nice as it looked
Very disappointed in this fish made it for dinner this evening for myself and my husband and both of us found it to be so dry and not nice to eat ... So we just had the chips and peas and some cold ham instead ... Will definitely not be buying this again ...
This is so delicious, yummy. Will definitely buy agin. Thanks Morrisons
Possibly ok to serve at a dogs dinner party!
This insipid and tasteless product appears to consist of reconstituted bits of fish cocooned in a rather nasty breadcrumb sort of casing. VERY poor value for money. Avoid. Far better to buy a nice piece of cod fillet from the fishmonger department and do it yourself!
Reviewing flavour is always a matter of taste and what one likes another will hate, but, if you like the taste of squeezed lemon on your fish then this is for you. It's lovely and fresh tasting with both the flavour of the lemon and pepper oozing through equally without one drowning out the other. The crumb is crisp - I shallow fry- and the fish is white inside and not too strong or fishy in flavour. Very nice quality, well done Bird's Eye!
