Wonderfully helpful for digestive health
Like probiotic yoghurt, kefir contains good bacteria which the gut needs to function well. But kefir has helped my IBS very much more effectively than any live yoghurt ever has. I can now digest more of the foods I previously had to avoid. For anyone with digestive problems, I suggest take the precaution of starting with a small amount and increasing the amount daily. I drink approximately half and glass 3. or 4 times a week. At first I drinks it every day. I often mix kefir in a glass together with a black current and blackberry type of smoothie (v thick fruit juice). The purple and white together look exotic and taste delicious.
