Too salty now
I have purchased this approx 2 years ago in different supermarket and it wasnt bad but definitely not the best. That time it was newest but not salty at all. I do prefer unsalted butter because of health problems. Last week I have purchased this instead overpriced Lurpak unsalted spreadable butter in Morrison shop and regret this purchase after opening and trying it. The quality taste of this product is very bad. First is too salty and you can feel the taste has nothing to do with butter so far. More like palm oil or margarine.. Waisted ends up in the bin. Very bad for healthy eating. Why all butters are so salty now? I wish to find out some British farmer with classic home made unsalted delicious butter. Not overpriced branded junk .
70% palm oil
Tastes bland, not very buttery. Should've checked the ingredients before I purchased. ...full of palm oil. Wish I could return it!
Tastes like butter and has healthy olive oil. Not salty, tastes great on toast. Easily spreadable.
Nice Tasting Spread
I have been looking for a sensibly priced spread ever since butter prices rose to astronomical levels. This one was on offer so I thought I'd give it a go. Normally I would avoid anything with olive oil in it as I find olive oil has such a strong flavour that it overpowers anything else. Not so with this spread. OK, it's not butter and there are some occasions when only butter will do, but this really does taste creamy and buttery. An added bonus is that it genuinely does spread straight from the fridge, unlike some other softer spreads. One thing to watch when doing price comparisons is that this pack is only 400 grams, rather than the normal 500 grams.
Full of flavour
Tried and and have brought it ever since, sorry to say it's only when it on offer though
Personally I'd rather pay a bit extra and have a nice buttery spread on my bread or toast, and this hits the spot
