Perfect for cheap take on chip shop dinner
Crunchy Tasty Chip Shop Sausage
Have now bought several times. Crunchy and hardy any gease
The best battered sausages I have ever tasted. Someone complained that they are small at £1+ per pack of 6 try your fish and chip shop and find that they charge £2+ for 2 sausages.
Not the best
I thought they sounded nice, especially for the price, but I was wrong. I oven cooked them for longer than recommended, and they still didn't cook properly. There was a soggy inside to the batter that looked and tasted just awful. The sausage tasted better than the coating, and even though it's just £1 a pack, I wouldn't buy them again. AND.....they are soooooo tiny !!
Taste lovely. I do them in my airfryer. shame they are very seldom in stock.
Healthier Option, Still Really Nice
The batter on these was nice and crispy. Okay so the sausages are on the cheap side, but it's £1.00 for a bag of six (at the time of writing) - I don't expect 100% pork at that price.
