Recipes
Why not create your own dipping sauce?
Ingredients: 1/4 Cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, 1 teaspoon finely minced or grated fresh ginger, 1 clove garlic, minced or grated, 1/2 teaspoon sugar (to taste) 1/2 teaspoon chili oil or sriracha sauce (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and sugar. Stir well until the sugar is dissolved.
2. Add the finely minced or grated fresh ginger and garlic.
3. Add chilli oil or sriracha sauce for extra heat (optional). Stir the sauce well to combine all the ingredients.
4. Taste and adjust the flavour to your liking. You can add more sugar for sweetness or more vinegar for tanginess.
6. Let the sauce sit for about 15-30 minutes before using it to allow the flavours to develop. Your gyoza dipping sauce is now ready to serve with your freshly cooked or steamed gyoza.
