Oil is oil - it all does the same job. This is pretty good overall compared to some others. Food does cook well, and has no real background greasy/oily flavour. Better in solid blocks though. Stands high temp's well too - so good for roasting and frying. A good oil at a good price.
not vegetable oil the product is incorrectly listed, this is rapeseed oil, see bottle label
Having used this oil in both a deep fat fryer and now the Actifry, I find it cooks everything brilliantly and without the greasy taste.
This oil seems to work well when making my own oven chips. I par boil the chipped potatoes for 5 minutes Add a little crisp and dry to a roasting tin and put into the oven for 5 minutes. Drain potatoes - give a shake - add to roasting pan and sprinkle with a little table salt. Depending on the size you have cut the potatoes, they should be crisp within 45 minutes.
